Poolside Yoga Date Change

World’s Largest Swimming Lesson to be held in Parkers Prairie!
Please join in on the World’s Largest Swimming Lesson at your hometown Aquatic Center!! It is on Thursday June 23rd at 6 pm. This lesson is 45 mins long and is open for all ages and abilities! This is a FREE class that focuses on drowning prevention and what to do in an emergency situation. Please come dressed in clothes with a swimsuit underneath. Participants will be getting in the water with their clothes on!

Pool Opening Day Delayed
The opening date of the Pool will be delayed by a couple of days due to an unexpected equipment issue. We will keep you updated as more info becomes available. Thank you!

The Pool is Filled!
Today the Parkers Prairie Pool was filled! Opening day is Monday, June 7th. Daily hours are 1 pm to 7 pm seven days a week. Concessions are back this year! You may stop in the City Hall during office hours to purchase your single pass or family pass and sign your waiver form so you’re ready to swim on opening day!

Now Hiring Pool Supervisors & Lifeguards for 2021!
The City of Parkers Prairie is hiring! Pool Supervisors need to be at least 18 years of age with experience working with children of all ages. Lifeguards need to be at least 16 years of age, are dependable, responsible, friendly, and enjoy working with others in an outdoor setting. We will hold Lifeguard Certification/Re-certification classes here in Parkers Prairie for Aquatic Center employees. Last Day of 2020 Pool Season!

Poolside Yoga
Join Pamela at the beautiful Aquatic Center for a peaceful poolside Holy Yoga experience.
Every Tuesday & Thursday at 9 am starting July 2nd
Bring a mat, water, sunscreen and a beach towel for under your mat (sometimes it’s a little sandy or damp from dew). All classes are $10 and drop-in, no need to register. Check out Holy Yoga with Pamela Facebook page for updates throughout the summer.
