What is Household Hazardous Waste?
Products that are either toxic to
the environment or to humans and are no longer needed or
intended to be used are considered household hazardous
waste (HHW). Examples of HHW include paint, stain,
varnish, automotive fluids, household cleaners, and
more. These types of products should never be dumped
down a drain, put in the trash, or spilled onto the
soil. Improper disposal can cause air, water, and soil
pollution. Drop off your HHW products for FREE at a
mobile collection near you and we will recycle or
dispose of them responsibly. Household waste only - no
business waste will be accepted. Limit of 10 fluorescent
bulbs per household. Limit 4 oil filters per household.
