Municipal Elections:
City elections are held
on even numbered years.
The elected officials
for the city consist of
the mayor, term of
office two years, and
four council members,
term of office four
years.
The regular municipal
election is held the
first Tuesday after the
first Monday in
November.
The City does not hold a
Primary Election for
City Offices.
The City Clerk's office
is responsible for
conducting the local,
state and federal
elections.
Voter Registration cards
as well as application
for Absentee ballots
forms are available at
the city offices, high
school and Parkers
Prairie Independent.
The state
primary election
will be held on Tuesday,
August 7, 2012.
The
state general
and national elections
will be held on Tuesday,
November 6, 2012.
