Ø       January 29 - Ringneck's Forevermore Banquet - Prairie Event Center
             Social - 5:30 pm  |  Dinner - 6:30 pm

Ø       February 5 - Lions Snowmobile Run for Youth - 9:00 am (depending on snow condition)
             Registration will start at JJ's Gas & Grocery (Highway 29 north)
                Parking is available for vehicles and trailers at the start site.
             The ride will run from Parkers Prairie to Ottertail City (Otter Supper Club), then to New York Mills, Bluffton,
                Deer Creek and back to Parkers Prairie.

       February 5 - Sportsmen's Banquet - Prairie Event Center

Ø       February 11 - Pride Lions Sweetheart's Dance - Prairie Event Center
             Social - 6:30 pm  |  Dinner - 7:00 pm
             Tickets are available at Dick's Standard and City Hall

Ø       April 1 - Miss Tootsie Pageant - 7 pm - Parkers Prairie Elementary School
             Come cheer on your local community members as they dazzle the audience with their finesse, talent, and beauty!
             Contestants are: Lola K. Tingwire - Dowanna B. Alion - Rosalie U. Walls - Joanie Z. Hosenfire - Ivana C.U. Atrecess
             All proceeds of the event will benefit local youth projects.
             Sponsored by: Pride of Parkers Prairie Lions

Ø       April 2 - Lions 4-Wheeler Run - Proceeds will go to Lions Youth Projects
             Registration starts at 9:00 am
             Riders should meet on N Sunset (old Highway 29) west of the tree farm on the northwest edge of Parkers Prairie.
             Riders must be at least 16 years of age, drivers and riders under age 18 must wear a helmet.
             Food tokens will be given out for pledge totals over $15 and $25.
             The "Top Ten" money raisers will each receive $10 Gift Certificates to Parkers Prairie restaurants.

Ø       April 3 - 2010 Tornado Victims Pancake & Sausage Benefit - 10:30 am - 1:30 pm - Prairie Event Center
             This benefit will help support the victims of the 2010 tornado that ripped through the area.
             There will also be a silent auction.

Ø       April 10  - PP Ambulance Ham Bingo - 2:00 pm - Prairie Event Center

Ø       April 12 - St. William's Salad Luncheon - Vogrin Hall - 11:00 am - 1:30 pm

Ø       April 16 & 17 - 46th Annual Lions Smelt Fry - Prairie Event Center
             Saturday, April 17 - 2:00 - 8:00 pm
             Sunday, April 18 - 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

             Ages 1-9  A family and community event!

Ø       May 16 - Bicycle Rodeo - Police Department - City Hall - 6:30 - 8:30 pm

Ø       May 28 - Community Wide Garage Sales - [location is at your home] - 7:00 am - 3:00 pm
            $15.00 registration fee - provides for advertising, yard signs & maps to participating garage sales
              Maps of individual sales information and location will be available around town. Single and multi-family sales.
              Everything from collectibles, to clothing, toys, furniture, home decor, crystal, electronics, tools, and more. Don't miss it!

Ø       May 30 - Memorial Day Service - Parkers Prairie High School New Gymnasium
                        PP Legion Memorial Day Pancake Breakfast - Parkers Prairie High School Old Gymnasium - 8 am - Noon

Ø       June 17 - Movie Night in the Park - City Park Softball Field - 8:00 pm
            Featuring: Despicable Me
            Free Will Donation - All proceeds help Just For Kix girls go to the Outback Bowl
            Activities begin at 8:00 pm with the movie starting at dark
            Bring your own chairs and/or blankets and come enjoy and evening out with your family and friends!

Ø       June 18 - Pride Lions Bicycle Ride for Youth - Parkers Prairie Elementary Track & Field
            This ride has routes for young, medium and advanced riders. There will also be an option to walk around the track.
      
Proceeds from the ride benefit local youth programs.
