The City of Parkers Prairie owns, manages, maintains and operates water and wastewater. Municipal utilities are YOUR utility and we invite you to contact us with any questions or information you may have concerning utility matters. Utility bills are billed monthly.
The monthly bills will be calculated at 1/3 of the quarterly base rate. For 2008 that will be $40.97 per month for water and sewer. This is based on 0 - 5,000 gallon usage. Meter reading cards will be sent out in March, June and December. The City continues to read meters in September. Consumption in excess of the minimum 5,000 gallons will be added to the March, June, September and December bills. If you are a minimum user, you're monthly bills should be even.
The bills are due approximately 15 days after the 1st of the following month.

You are requested to read your water meter and return it to the City Clerk's office. If the meter reading is not returned the usage will be estimated at the previous years usage.
