Ø       August 14 - 4th Annual Men's Softball/Volleyball Tournament & Family Fun Day - City Park and High School Field
              Tournament play will begin at 7:00 am.
              Food, Fun, Silent Auction and great softball entertainment.
              Proceeds will assist in funding Productive Alternatives Inc. programs.

Ø       August 21 - Prairie to Woods Whitetail Banquet - Prairie Event Center

       January 23 - Lions in Sight Community Event - Prairie Event Center - 2:00 - 7:00 pm
             Free Will Donation (
plus optional food shelf item)
             Food, Desserts & Refreshments Served
             Come see the International Peace Poster Winners!
             Live music featuring: David Carroll, Dennis Amundson, Just for Kix, and Local High School Talents!
This is a free will donation event featuring several free services for you! Come talk to Hospice House staff, Broadway Medical Clinic Staff, Trumm Drug Pharmacists, Public Health, Lions Eye Bank, Diabetes screening, Project New Hope, and many more Lions and local services to answer any questions you have!

Ø       January 30 - Lions Snowmobile Run for Youth - 9:00 am (depending on snow condition)
             Registration will start at JJ's Gas & Grocery (Highway 29 north)
                Parking is available for vehicles and trailers at the start site.
             The ride will run from Parkers Prairie to Ottertail City (Otter Supper Club), then to New York Mills, Bluffton,
                Deer Creek and back to Parkers Prairie.

Ø       April 10 - Spring Fling - Prairie Event Center - Proceeds will go to Lions Youth Projects

             8-12:00 Dance featuring Eagle Valley Playboys

Ø       April 10 - Lions 4-Wheeler Run - Proceeds will go to Lions Youth Projects
             Registration starts at 9:00 am
             Riders should meet on N Sunset (old Highway 29) west of the tree farm on the northwest edge of Parkers Prairie.
             Riders must be at least 16 years of age, drivers and riders under age 18 must wear a helmet.
             Food tokens will be given out for pledge totals over $15 and $25.
             The "Top Ten" money raisers will each receive $10 Gift Certificates to Parkers Prairie restaurants.

             Sunday, April 18 - 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Ø       May 15 - "Back by Popular Demand - Parkers Comedy Night!" - Prairie Event Center - 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm
              Social starts at 7:30 pm
              Comedy Show starts 8:00 pm
              It's Parkers Comedy Night....Back by Popular Demand! Clean, hilarious comedy.
              Featuring: Scott Novotny - "He's a cross between Robin Williams & Red Skelton."

Ø       May 24 - Bicycle Rodeo - Police Department - City Hall - 6:30 - 8:30 pm

Ø       May 31 - Memorial Day Service - Parkers Prairie High School

Ø       June 19 - Bicycle Ride to support the City Pool - City Park
            Help save our pool! This ride has routes for young, medium and advanced riders.
      
Following the ride there will be games, food and fun at the park!

Ø       June 19 - 104th Annual Firemen's Dance - Fire Hall
            Featuring Echoplane - 9:00 pm to 1:00 am

Ø       August 6, 7, & 8 - 36th Annual Fall Festival
